Laurentian Abyss

from Derivations by Lee Jackson

/

about

"Laurentian Abyss" got its name from the initial instrument setup I'd used - low, growling bass with nautical sounding bells. It reminded me of the "Laurentian Abyssal" area where the final battle in the movie "The Hunt for Red October" took place. Don't ask me where the inspiration for the funk part came from - I don't know. I like how it sounds, though.
