I am honestly not sure where I got the inspiration for the title of "Ike2." It may have come from the storm which slammed into the cities of Galveston and Houston back in 2008 (I spent my "growing up" years in Houston, so I have a soft spot for the city). It may have come from the nickname for the 34th President of the United States, Dwight David "Ike" Eisenhower. In either case, don't ask me where the "2" came from - I have no bloody clue. All I know is that the song is one of my more serious attempts at writing very heavy metal, and I thank Andrew Hulshult (www.hulshult.com) very much for his input on creating the rhythm guitar sounds.
